I started making copper jewelry at my kitchen table when I was thirty-four. My husband built me a proper workbench a few years later, and I've sat at it nearly every day since — shaping bangles, bending wire for earrings, hammering the same patina by hand into ring after ring.

I'm not going to pretend this is an easy thing to write. At 76, my hands don't hold a hammer the way they used to, and my eyesight makes the fine wirework much slower and harder than it once was.

So rather than let the workshop slowly wind down, I've decided to close it properly. What you see on this site is what's left — pieces I've already finished, sitting on the very shelves you saw in the photograph above. Once each one sells, I won't be making another to replace it. There is no next collection coming after this.

I'd rather these pieces go to people who will actually wear them than sit boxed up in my workshop. Thank you for reading this far, and thank you for considering one of my last pieces.
